S. J. Daniel is a fine art photographer drawn to the textures and forms of the natural world.
Based in California, S. J. Daniel's subjects span mountains, valleys, and the coast. His work shifts between exploration of new environments and a reexamination of the familiar. Through a lens, he looks for new perspectives that reflect his appreciation for the balance between the natural and the engineered, advocating for the preservation of the environments we share.

Each piece is released in editions of twenty-five prints per size. Every size carries its own independent run, and once that run is complete the edition closes permanently.
Every print ships with a hand-written, stamped certificate of provenance, prepared and signed in California and mailed separately. The certificate is your record of provenance for the piece.
Every print is inspected before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, please provide photographs within 48 hours of receipt so it can be replaced at no cost. All limited edition sales are final upon delivery.

Unframed prints are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag - a 308 gsm archival cotton rag with a soft natural surface, deep blacks, and a lightly felted texture. Each sheet carries a subtle natural white tone and a matte finish that holds detail without sheen.
Unframed prints ship rolled in a heavy-walled cardboard tube with capped ends, interleaved with acid-free tissue to protect the surface. Each order is fully insured and tracked from the lab through to your door.

Framed prints are printed on Enhanced Matte Art at 200 gsm - a museum-grade matte stock with broad tonal range and faithful color rendition, chosen for how it performs behind glazing.
Solid wood mouldings in matte black, matte white, or natural oak, with a conservation-grade snow-white mat and clear Perspex acrylic glazing, chosen over glass for safe transit. Each frame ships assembled, ready to hang.
The print size you choose is the image size. The assembled frame is larger, adding a 1-2 in mat on every side plus the moulding, with the wider mats on the bigger prints.
Framed pieces ship flat in a custom corrugated carton with reinforced corner protection and the frame face buffered against scuffs. Each parcel is fully insured and tracked from the lab through to your door.
